Course Overview
Throughout this course, participants will explore the development of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB™) and the global shift toward standardised disclosures and benchmarks. They will also recognise the role of global sustainability disclosure standards in enhancing transparency, accountability, and comparability across reporting practices.
Participants will learn to interpret and apply the IFRS® Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and IFRS S2), including a dedicated section on the transition path for those currently using GRI Standards. Practical case studies and educational materials will provide hands-on experience in the implementation process. Furthermore, our course incorporates publicly available technical guidance from the IFRS Foundation, ensuring a high-quality learning experience at TEMBUSU.

Chloe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Bristol (UK) and has obtained further certifications from CFA in ESG Investing, GRI in Human Rights & Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gas Accounting Lead Verifier / Lead Validator) and carbon foot printing through lifecycle assessment. She has 5 years of experience in project management involving banking and consulting sectors. Exposure to these sectors has enabled Chloe to acquire skills in accounting & finance, regulatory reporting, stakeholder & vendor management, operations and project management. At TEMBUSU Asia, she aims to support client demand and play an important role in prioritizing sustainability, ethical practices and social responsibility. Chloe has provided consulting services to listed companies in Singapore & Indonesia, focusing on Sustainability Reporting aligned with standards such as OJK, SGX, GRI, SASB and TCFD, as well as delivering projects related to De-carbonisation, GHG Accounting, Scenario Analysis, Life Cycle Assessments and Capacity Building.

Alfred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Digital Innovation from University of London (LSE) with Second Class Honours (Upper Division). Bringing 3 years of experience across the Education, Technology, and Finance sectors, with a primary focus on Education, Alfred has cultivated key skills in instructional design, curriculum development, training delivery, project management, and stakeholder engagement. In his current role as Training and Development Manager at TEMBUSU Asia Consulting, Alfred is focused on developing TEMBUSU Academy. The academy aims to equip professionals across Asia with the essential knowledge and skills to navigate the evolving landscape of sustainability reporting, including expertise in GRI standards, ISSB (IFRS S1 & S2), and the broader SDGs framework.
