TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) is supporting an Environmental Study for dredging works in the east of Singapore. To ensure the effective conveyance of stormwater, dredging works are periodically carried out to remove sediment and silt from waterways, reducing the risk of property damage due to flooding and safeguarding public safety.

As the dredging works are conducted in a location with sensitive habitat, TAC’s services involve reviewing the Environmental Baseline Study (EBS), conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), preparing a Detailed Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (Detailed EMMP) specification, as well as monitoring and reporting of the Detailed EMMP in the study area.

TAC's multi-disciplinary services will support the client in capturing relevant information on sensitive receptors on site to formulate feasible mitigation options. By allowing for a sustainable dredging approach, the SDG goals of life on land and life below water are fulfilled.
