TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was appointed to conduct terrestrial habitat mapping, tree mapping and flora baseline surveys for a large forest parcel (113 ha) in the northern region of Singapore with varied habitat types and floral communities. TAC will use a combination of quadrat sampling and line transects to get a representative understanding of the flora species at the study area. Deliverables include detailed records of species list, flora inventory and image catalogues for each recorded flora entry, and in-depth analyses of the flora findings, habitats and ecology. The study area is expected to host large populations of native flora regeneration with species associated with late-secondary and primary forests, which TAC’s in-house flora specialists are well-equipped to identify.
