- Specialist Consultancy Services at a Residential Development in the Northern Part of Singapore
Home / Projects Projects Specialist Consultancy Services at a Residential Development in the Northern Part of Singapore March 25, 2025 All Projects, Environmental & Ecology A recent housing development adopted an integrated approach to transform a forest in Northern Singapore into a dynamic living space. Leveraging on ecological and environmental expertise , TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was appointed to conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and develop an Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) for the site. A core conservation area was identified to be retained due to its rich biodiversity and the presence of a stream flowing through a freshwater swamp. TAC revalidated the existing EIA to minimise negative impacts to the flora and fauna that might be caused by the construction work. A comprehensive EMMP was implemented during both infrastructure and building phases to ensure compliance to mitigation measures. Monthly fauna surveys were also conducted to monitor the changes in biodiversity around the site. To improve the environmental knowledge of key personnel, trainings were held on certain biodiversity topics such as the species found in the project site, the significance of biodiversity protection, and strategies to minimise human-wildlife conflict. TAC’s multi-disciplinary services have supported the client in creating a sustainable urban development while fulfilling the SDG goals of sustainable cities and communities and life on land. #SDG11 #SDG15 #biodiversity #ecology #EIA #EMMP Previous Back Next

We assessed their emissions profile and provided strategies to support their journey toward net-zero goals, fostering transparency and accountability. #TCFD #FinancedEmisisons #PCAF #SBTi Previous Back Next
- Environmental Study for Dredging works at east of Singapore
Home / Projects Projects Environmental Study for Dredging works at east of Singapore May 15, 2025 All Projects, Environmental & Ecology TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) is supporting an Environmental Study for dredging works in the east of Singapore. To ensure the effective conveyance of stormwater, dredging works are periodically carried out to remove sediment and silt from waterways, reducing the risk of property damage due to flooding and safeguarding public safety. As the dredging works are conducted in a location with sensitive habitat, TAC’s services involve reviewing the Environmental Baseline Study (EBS), conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), preparing a Detailed Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (Detailed EMMP) specification, as well as monitoring and reporting of the Detailed EMMP in the study area. TAC's multi-disciplinary services will support the client in capturing relevant information on sensitive receptors on site to formulate feasible mitigation options. By allowing for a sustainable dredging approach, the SDG goals of life on land and life below water are fulfilled. #SDG11 #SDG14 #SDG15 #EnvironmentalStudy #EnvironmentalImpactAssessment #Biodiversity Previous Back Next

Home / Projects Projects Carbon Verification & Carbon Neutrality Advisory services for a digital payment tokens (DPT) trading exchange September 3, 2021 All Projects, Carbon & Sustainability TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was appointed to provide Carbon Verification and Carbon Neutrality Advisory services for a digital payment tokens (DPT) trading exchange based in Singapore. Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) suggests limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to mitigate climate change. To achieve this threshold, carbon neutrality by the mid-21st century is essential. While large organizations are urged to transform their business to become net-zero, it is impressive to see an SME voluntarily demonstrates its commitment to climate actions. The scope of work included reviewing and verifying carbon inventory prepared by the client. TAC provided advisory service guiding the client through the challenges of meeting requirements set out in the Carbon Neutrality Standards, PAS 2060. Through this service, TAC supports our client in leading the transition to low carbon for long-term values and resilience in meeting SDG#13. - EMMP Services for Communication Systems Installation at Mandai, Singapore
Home / Projects Projects EMMP Services for Communication Systems Installation at Mandai, Singapore June 10, 2024 All Projects, Environmental & Ecology TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) was engaged to provide environmental consulting services for installation of a communication system in several sites at Mandai. These sites are part of the Mandai Rejuvenation Project (MRP), which covers 35.4 hectares. The MRP is adjacent to the Central Catchment Nature Reserve which is known to be ecologically sensitive. TAC’s team of ecologists and environmental consultants recommended measures to be implemented and conducted regular site visits to ensure the measures are effective in reducing the impacts. Throughout the project duration, the EMMP was adapted in an iterative process. Our services enabled our client to conduct their project in an environmentally sensitive manner, thus moving towards fulfilling UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 15: Life on Land. #SDG11 #SustainableCitiesandCommunities #SDG15 #LifeOnLand Previous Back Next
