The plant is surrounded by important biodiversity, including birds and mammals of conservation significance inhabiting the forests, and rare aquatic fauna inhabiting the streams. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will be carried out during the design stage. The EIA work includes the establishment of baseline conditions within the study area via field surveys of environmental aspects including biodiversity, water quality, air quality and noise quality. The collected data would be analysed to assess the environmental impacts associated with the project site based on the proposed development plan. Given the importance of the site for biodiversity, the preparation of an Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) with recommended mitigation and monitoring measures will help to mitigate the adverse impacts generated during the construction stage and will lead to the project implementation in an environmentally sustainable way. TAC will also support the Client during the construction stage in overseeing the implementation of EMMP and reporting requirements. TAC shall verify the design and assessment criteria based on Singapore’s Codes of Practice (return period, platform levels, climate change impacts, etc). TAC shall also carry out a review and site analysis of the internal and external drainage and hydraulic design, designed platform levels, drainage strategies and conduct further site vulnerability assessment to identify potential flood risk to the site and basement levels. TAC shall combine its multidisciplinary strength and capabilities in water resource planning, regulatory compliance, and due diligence services to present its findings and recommendation on possible ways to enhance flood proofing measures over its intended service life span.     Home / Projects Projects Soundness test and Professional Engineer (PE) inspection of the natural gas pipe March 25, 2025 All Projects, Urban Resilience Since 2019, TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) has been engaged by a lubricant and fuel additives manufacturer to carry out soundness test and Professional Engineer (PE) inspection of their natural gas pipe, from the gas service isolation valve to the gas appliances. The soundness test and PE inspection is conducted every 3 years and annually respectively. Soundness test was carried out by a Licensed Gas Service Worker (LGSW) to access the condition of the natural gas pipe, and identify any leakage, corrosion or blockages. Upon completion of the soundness test and PE inspection, the PE issued an inspection report, highlighting the findings of the inspection. As no major defect was observed during the inspection, the PE issued a Certificate of Fitness for the client to submit to SP POWERGRID as part of the Gas Supply Regulations. Previous Back Next
