The scope of this EIS includes a biodiversity study to establish the ecological baseline of the project site, an assessment of the impacts of land clearance on the environment, and the recommendation of appropriate measures to mitigate these impacts. TEMBUSU Asia will also conduct biodiversity awareness training to brief key personnel on biodiversity issues pertaining to the project, including species found at the project site, the importance of biodiversity conservation, and ways to avoid human-wildlife conflict. We believe that by working with and providing sound recommendations to the Client, we will be able to help minimise adverse impacts on the surrounding natural environment for the duration of this project. Home / Projects Projects Professional Engineer’s (PE) Review and Endorsement for Oily Wastewater System of IWMF September 13, 2024 All Projects, Urban Resilience TAC was engaged by an Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) located at the Tuas View Basin Site to review its design of the oily wastewater system. The facility mainly consists of material recovery facility, food waste treatment facility, waste-to-energy facility and sludge incineration facility. TAC’s role was to review the design of the oily wastewater system of IWMF, including the design calculation, process flow diagram, piping and instrumentation diagram and the general layout. A detailed gap analysis was also carried out to identify possible improvements to the current design, and recommendations were given to these areas to make sure they comply with regulatory and general requirements. Given the rich biodiversity inhabiting the mangroves and mudflats along the coast, TAC would recommend measures to ensure that the works do not adversely affect sensitive fauna, particularly due to the generation of noise from industrial activities. Our services enabled our client to conduct their project in an environmentally sensitive manner, thus moving towards fulfilling UN SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 15: Life on Land. The work includes assessing existing electrical systems and structural loads for the solar PV system installation, study financial viability and rates of return, developing of tender specifications and supporting the client in the bid evaluation. The solar PV system will allow residences to enjoy shared facilities which are powered by green energy, reducing their carbon footprint. In line with TAC’s mission to assist client in meeting their UN SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, this project will allow client to play a part in fighting climate change contributing to Singapore Green Plan 2030’s target to have at least 2 GWp of solar deployment by 2030 and strengthening Singapore’s commitments under the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and Paris Agreement. This annual inspection is a requirement of the Gas (Supply) Regulations to ensure no leakage or corrosion to the gas installation and that gas supply remains safe. Upon completion of the annual inspection, a Certificate of Fitness will be issued if the gas installation is found to be in good operating condition. This is the third consecutive year that our Client engages us in this service, and we are pleased to be able to deliver satisfactory and quality services that remain consistent through the years. Home / Projects Projects EMMP for construction of Transport Link to Malaysia April 9, 2021 All Projects, Environmental & Ecology TEMBUSU Asia Consulting was awarded an Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) project for the construction of LTA viaduct and tunnels for the transport link that will connect Malaysia and Singapore. The scope covers the development of a detailed construction EMMP framework during the pre-construction stage, outlining the mitigation and management measures for all environmental aspects to ensure that the proposed works do not adversely affect the environment surrounding the project site. In addition, a biodiversity management plan will be prepared along with a reporting system to monitor the implementation of the EMMP. A biodiversity awareness training will also be provided prior to construction activities to train the personnel on the ecological sensitivity of the site. Given that the project is located within a forested area, TEMBUSU Asia will provide support for monitoring the environmental aspects during the construction stage, especially on biodiversity issues. Environmental monitoring is a critical tool for assessing the effectiveness of EMMP and all recommended mitigation measures. Course Trainer(s) Dr. Daniel SUTEDJA Dr. Daniel Sutedja holds a Professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), an MBA (General Management) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance). Dr. Daniel is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSP), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC Global), a Registered Management Consultant (RMC) accredited by SAC Singapore and a Fellow Certified Management Accountant (CMA). His teaching and research focus on strategy, competitive sustainability, sustainable global value chains (GVCs) and M&A. Daniel has more than 30 years of professional experience covering sustainability management, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), management controls system, corporate governance, and manufacturing. Some of the representative projects include sustainability strategic planning and reporting for some industries, sustainable global value chain (GVC) agribusiness project, M&A deals/projects, setting up several major manufacturing facilities and enterprise-wide ERP projects in Southeast Asia region. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Achieva Global based in Singapore and has extensive multinational business and leadership experience. he was previously regional CFO/Finance Director at several US multinational companies based in Singapore where he spearheaded the finance, IT and logistic teams in ASEAN.
