The work includes assessing existing electrical systems and structural loads for the solar PV system installation, study financial viability and rates of return, developing of tender specifications and supporting the client in the bid evaluation. The solar PV system will allow residences to enjoy shared facilities which are powered by green energy, reducing their carbon footprint. In line with TAC’s mission to assist client in meeting their UN SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, this project will allow client to play a part in fighting climate change contributing to Singapore Green Plan 2030’s target to have at least 2 GWp of solar deployment by 2030 and strengthening Singapore’s commitments under the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and Paris Agreement. This annual inspection is a requirement of the Gas (Supply) Regulations to ensure no leakage or corrosion to the gas installation and that gas supply remains safe. Upon completion of the annual inspection, a Certificate of Fitness will be issued if the gas installation is found to be in good operating condition. This is the third consecutive year that our Client engages us in this service, and we are pleased to be able to deliver satisfactory and quality services that remain consistent through the years. Home / Projects Projects EMMP for construction of Transport Link to Malaysia April 9, 2021 All Projects, Environmental & Ecology TEMBUSU Asia Consulting was awarded an Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) project for the construction of LTA viaduct and tunnels for the transport link that will connect Malaysia and Singapore. The scope covers the development of a detailed construction EMMP framework during the pre-construction stage, outlining the mitigation and management measures for all environmental aspects to ensure that the proposed works do not adversely affect the environment surrounding the project site. In addition, a biodiversity management plan will be prepared along with a reporting system to monitor the implementation of the EMMP. A biodiversity awareness training will also be provided prior to construction activities to train the personnel on the ecological sensitivity of the site. Given that the project is located within a forested area, TEMBUSU Asia will provide support for monitoring the environmental aspects during the construction stage, especially on biodiversity issues. Environmental monitoring is a critical tool for assessing the effectiveness of EMMP and all recommended mitigation measures. Home / Projects Projects Environmental Risk Analysis study (Aspect-Impact Assessment) for a Berth construction project in Singapore December 7, 2021 All Projects, Urban Resilience TEMBUSU Asia Consulting (TAC) has been engaged by a client to carry out an Environmental Risk Analysis (ERA) study for Berth construction project at one of the Singapore’s ports. The project is conceived as green and sustainable development and required to achieve Green Mark (GM) certification. As part of the GM certification, Environment Risk Analysis (ERA) study is to be conducted to ensure that environmental impacts associated with the project are considered and environmental Aspects and Impacts of products/activities are determined at an early stage. TAC will examine work activities, potential inputs (raw materials, chemicals, and utilities) and outputs (products, wastes produced, recycled materials, water discharges, and air emissions) and assess relevant impacts such as soil contamination, air pollution, noise health effects, and ecology impacts. As an outcome of this ERA study, TAC will develop an Aspect-Impact Assessment Register which will highlight the significant environmental aspects and will recommend mitigation measure to address them. Prior to this project, TEMBUSU Asia has provided consultancy services for the client during the design stage to fulfil its duty as an Occupier of construction workplace under WSH Act and related regulations. The consultance scope include assistance in the preparation of WSH framework for EPCM project covering WSH management plans & procedures. It also includes the review of existing company WSH documents to identify an gaps vis-a-vis Singapore WSHframework. We will deploy the WSH consultant at site to inspect and review of implementation of site WSH practices. Also, our scope includes Design-for-Safety (DfS) services in which our registered DfS Professional will assist client to fulfil its duties under DfS regulation. Increased focus on sustainable finance is driving financial institutions to be future-ready. Financial institutions are analyzing their current investment profile and steering themselves towards sustainable finance with the help of the latest technologies and guidance from global disclosure frameworks. As part of the client’s sustainability effort, TAC prepared technical guidance to assist the client in their preparation of a comprehensive governance structure to identify and prioritize climate-related risks and opportunities and applicable climate policies. TAC also assisted in baseline setting for GHG emissions and provided recommendations on SBTI aligned targets. TAC guided the client in developing their own sustainability report, addressing concerns about potential reputational risks associated with their emissions, including fuel, electricity and financed emissions. As part of resource efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions mitigation, the Client has identified opportunities in their process line to destruct greenhouse gases. The technology involves installation of mitigation tools that reduce release of greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere. The scope of works included reviewing and endorsing the M&V Plan proposed by the Client. The endorsement was carried out by a Lead Verifier certified by NEA under the Carbon Pricing Act.
